What is a Satellite small group?
Satellites are groups of 8-10 people who meet in someone’s home for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and community outreach.
How often does a Satellite meet?
Most of our groups will meet bi-weekly for about 90 minutes.
How long does a typical Satellite stay together?
Our groups are ongoing. They do not have a particular study and then disband. The goal is to include others, grow the group and then multiply in order to involve more people in the community. Most groups will stay together around 12 months before they multiply.
Why should I join a Satellite small group?
Here are a few great reasons to join: First, these groups will help you begin to understand the Bible better. Second, you’ll feel more a part of God’s family. Third, prayer will become more meaningful to you. Finally, you’ll have opportunities to reach our community for Christ.
What happens at a Satellite small group meeting?
Most groups will have a time for hanging out, talking about the week and sharing life stuff. The central component is a Bible study on something relevant to the members of the group and the vision of Bridge Bible Church. It may be a study on the book of John or Romans, or it may be a study on building healthy relationships from a biblical perspective. Our Satellites are designed to encourage discussion, study and prayer, as well as outreach activities throughout the year.
