Reopening Update:

"Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.  Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor." - Romans 12:9-10
Dear Church Family,

The Elders are planning reopening Bridge in three phases:
  • Phase 1 -  Face to face meetings & opening the office by appointment only, Life Groups & Bible Studies meeting face to face in groups of 10 or less.
  • Phase 2 - Resuming worship services following social distancing protocols, and other state recommendations.
  • Phase 3 - Resuming large gatherings and outreaches like VBS, Chili cook-off, church picnics, etc.
Effective immediately, we are cautiously entering into Phase 1. Life Groups and Bible Studies can resume meeting in homes or at the office, but do not have to. If your Life Group or study is uncomfortable, or in a high risk health category, we encourage you to follow your conscience and continue meeting over Zoom. If your group wishes to resume, but some in that group wish to keep meeting via Zoom, allow those members to Zoom in via a laptop or tablet. Our goal is to help people return to fellowship as quickly and safely as possible. Our Elders want to instruct all of us to 'prefer one another in love'...

Our Elders additionally want us to be mindful and respectful of other's feelings on handshakes, hugs, fist bumps, etc. If you are feeling ill, please restrain yourself even from those who are comfortable with physical contact, especially those in high risk categories. Also, please respect others wishing to continue all forms of social distancing. We want to model genuine love even among those that think differently on these issues. We have people at Bridge holding a variety of opinions on the virus, lock-down, and social distancing measures. Our unity begins with Christ's work on the cross on our behalf. Let's not become divisive for social or political points of view. Let's model for those around us what Christ-centered community looks like so we can make life with Christ 'attractive' (Titus 2:10 NIV).

Currently, there is no date for Phase 2. We are waiting for Field Schools to open Brimfield Elementary. To date, we have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with Field. We have every reason to believe that will continue. We will let you know when we have more information.

In the meantime, we will continue to offer online video streams of teaching and music. We will also continue video streams after services resume so those that need to remain home can be involved in our services.

I just wanted to thank our Bridge family for faithful participation and financial generosity. We have received some special gifts toward Benevolence, and our Elders have been overwhelmed by your kindness. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
